This study aims at surveying social minority groups. They usually hide their identity so that it is hard to approach them for conducting interview by the usual telephone survey or the home-visiting interview. Recently, specially designed survey methods for the hidden population were developed, which make possible probability sampling. This study tried to conduct surveys by applying three methods for Korean MSM. Online sampling and questionnaire survey was conducted for 984 men and the time-and-location sampling and survey was conducted for 482 men. On the basis of the mixed method theory, it was tried to combine the online data and the TLS data into one data set. A network survey or respondent-driven survey was conducted. The possibility and the limits of those 3 methods were discussed.
